This gorgeous fruit infusion pitcher serves up gorgeous infused water made in your very own kitchen with the greatest of ease. Simply fill the hollow rod in the middle of the pitcher with your choice of fruits, herbs, or whatever you want , seal it up put in your water and away we go!
It holds up to 93 ounces, and it looks great doing it. With your fruit and water inside, this clear pitcher is a great display item to spice up your kitchen or dinner settings, and what’s more, it is entirely practical.
We have taken to filling it with our fruit of choice at the end of the day and let it sit in the fridge overnight, so you can wake up to delicious chilled infused water in the morning. Then we let it sit out on the bench during the day, as a reminder to make ourselves drink more water. The fruit itself doesn’t have to be changed during the day, you can just top off the water as you pour yourself a glass which will ensure you always have a nice full pitcher of infused water. The instruction manual itself says that you can leave the fruit in without changing it for up to a week.
You can use whatever you like to flavour the water. Strawberries, lemons, oranges, apples, steak. The best part is, that the fruit doesn’t have to be in season. This work’s just as well with frozen berries and fruit as it does with fresh. I am a sucker for blueberries, but for most of the year I can only get the frozen variety, it was with no small amount of trepidation that I tried this out with a batch of frozen blueberries, only to be completely surprised! The process of soaking them in water for a few hours seems to bring them back to life entirely, and I am rewarded with a delicious pitcher of blueberry infused water. The only problem is that we seem to drink it rather quickly once it the fruit has soaked for a few hours and the flavour is ready. I might need to buy another one.
I was so excited when the editor said I could do a piece on this pitcher, I have been using mine for a while now and I really cant express how much I love it.
